A catch-all email mailbox receives messages sent to non-existent email addresses under the very same domain name. For example, a message sent to the miswritten suport@domain.com will be delivered to support@domain.com if the catch-all feature has been enabled for the latter. In this way, you can receive messages from acquaintances or clients who may have sent a message to your email address with a spelling error or to an obsolete one, which they may still have, but you have already deleted. Only one single mailbox per domain name can be a catch-all one and email forwarding cannot be set up for such a mailbox. This is so because of the fact that at some point you may start receiving spam email messages in the catch-all mailbox and the forwarding limitation implies that the spam will not be delivered to a third-party mailbox.

Catch-all Emails in Web Hosting

You’ll be able to configure a catch-all mailbox easily in case you’ve got a web hosting account with us. The Email Manager in our custom-developed Hepsia Control Panel is fully featured, yet surprisingly easy to work with, and it will enable you to enable various features, including the catch-all one, with no more than several mouse clicks. All the email addresses that you have created will be listed alphabetically in this section and to the right of each of them you will see a small "Catch-all" symbol. Clicking it once will activate the feature, clicking it twice will disable it. As you can have only one such mailbox per domain name, our system will warn you if you’ve already got another one with this option activated or if you’ve got active email forwarding.

Catch-all Emails in Semi-dedicated Hosting

The in-house created Hepsia Control Panel that is included with each and every semi-dedicated server plan that we offer will permit you to configure a catch-all e-mailbox with ease even in case you do not have much email/web hosting experience. All you have to do to achieve that is click on the catch-all icon, which will be on the right-hand side of each email address that you have created using your domain names in the Email Manager section of the Control Panel. Since you can have only one single mailbox with this feature per domain, our system will let you know if you’ve already created another catch-all mailbox or if the one that you want to use has email forwarding activated. In case you decide that you don’t need this feature any longer, you can turn it off by clicking once again on the exact same icon. The Email Manager will also permit you to view your catch-all mailboxes at a glance.
